COVID-19: Economic aspects to consider for individuals and organizations. A brief update as at 9 April 2020

This week has been busy mainly with launching "Antivirus" - a scheme to preserve employment rates. Employers have studied the specific conditions and have started to submit their applications from Monday April 6th. We recommend to all businesses and non-profit organizations to submit the application in case they have employees and their activities have been limited by the coronavirus restrictions. The applications for March are open till the end of April. Currently there is an option to get  a support for Macrh and April.
Attached there is a summary of current reliefs and schemes that shall help people and organizations to overcome the current situation as for example the compensation bonus for the self-employed or credit repayment relief. Many schemes are intended for business, entrepreneurs, however there is a lot to be used also by non-profit organizations.

Today is a Good Friday a an Easter weekend is in front of us. This time of the year relates to different habits and traditions for each of us. It is obvious that this year it will be different than in past years. The face-to-face contact will be limited and we will partially miss the Easter carols, preparing "pomlázka" (braided whip made from pussywillow twigs), painting eggs and visiting our families and friends. But let's not be sad, there is a beautiful spring coming, it starts to be warm and the nature is flourishing. During the weekend I plan to paint some eggs and make a "pomlázka" anyway and to enjoy what can be enjoyed. I believe you will do the same. In case especially the ladies are sad they cannot give out their great Easter eggs, I have a tip for you.
